The Committee for Satisfactory Academic Progress and Professional Standards (CAPPS) reviews the records of all students in the Preclinical and Basic Science terms twice a year. Students are evaluated in terms of their academic performance, professional attitude, and moral character. The faculty reserves the right to refuse promotion to students who are believed to be unsuited for continued study at the University.
