True Blue Clinic

Katherine Bourne-Yearwood, MBBS
Director, University Health Services

University Health Services provides a wide variety of health services to the University community from its modern, campus-based facility—from primary health care needs that include vaccinations and routine blood tests to off-hours urgent care. Ultrasound services are also available in the clinic. In addition to providing medical and critical care assessments, the clinic offers referrals to local physicians and to the SGU psychological services center.

The clinic is open with physicians in attendance on weekdays 7 am – 7 pm. Student walk-ins are available, but appointments are necessary for immediate families of students, staff, faculty, and outpatients. Additionally, there is daily 24-hour coverage by well-credentialed physicians to provide students with emergency care when the clinic is not open. Medical emergencies in Grenada are referred to the Grenada General Hospital or St. Augustine Medical Services. University Health Services also facilitates air evacuation when indicated.
