Remediation Assessment

Before a final failing grade (F) is awarded and prior to the close of the academic term, remediation assessments may be offered for specific failed practical or competency-based assessments conducted during the term. These assessments permit students to repeat and earn a new score prior to the finalization of course grades.

The Performance Data Review Team (PDRT) reviews the performance of students at risk of failing courses and recommends students for remedial assessments as an opportunity to demonstrate competency and remediate the grade.

Students may be allowed to do remediate grades for up to 2 assessments in a course.
