Make-Up Assessment

In instances where a student has failed a course bearing fewer than 4 credits, the student may be recommended to take a make-up assessment that allows the student to rectify the grade rather than repeating the course.  Both the failing grade and the make-up grade will appear on the student’s transcript.

Students may be allowed up to 2 make-up assessment attempts to rectify the grade.  The APRC review will determine whether a make-up exam is appropriate.

All coursework, including make-up, must be completed within 5 business days after the term ending, allowing for grades to be changed and entered in the LMS before the APRC meeting.
