The SOM Faculty Senate is an advisory body to the Administration. Details of the constitution and organization of the Senate and Senate committees are presented in the Faculty Senate by-laws (see Appendices).
Resolutions regarding SOM faculty and student issues are forwarded from the individual committees to the Senate Executive Committees or directly to administration as indicated in the committee’s by-laws. Approved resolutions from the Senate Executive Committee are forwarded to the senior associate dean for Clinical or basic sciences as applicable.
