- Meetings:
- Standing meetings of the FSSC will be scheduled approximately weekly throughout the calendar year. Ad hoc meetings will also be called at peak workload periods (e.g., near the beginning of academic terms).
- Each committee meeting will be chaired by the Chair.
- Parliamentary authority:
- FSSC (or subcommittee) resolutions/decisions will be passed by simple majority.
- Changes to the bylaws need 2/3 majority.
- The FSSC has the authority to create additional standing subcommittees and define their charge.
- Ad hoc subcommittees may be formed at the discretion of the Chair.
- Voting:
- Voting members: All members of the FSSC are considered as voting members.
- Quorum: A quorum will be considered to be 51% or greater of the voting members.
