Student Support Services

The Four-Year MD program is academically rigorous with a demanding classroom, small group, laboratory, clinical, and independent study requirements. Some students may benefit from an extended timeline. SGUSOM is committed to providing all students with the support needed to succeed.

Students have access to a range of services designed to support learning and promote success in medical school. These include support provided by the Academic Advising, Development, and Support (AADS) division of the Office of Student Affairs, academic departments, the Department of Educational Services (DES), the Psychological Services Center (PSC), and University Health Services.
