Veterinary Student Herpetological Society

The mission of the Veterinary Student Herpetological Society (VSHS) is to improve veterinary education in herpetological medicine through the exchange of ideas and educational materials, by educating members about Grenada’s unique herpetofauna and by giving members hands-on experience with the club’s live animal collection. Additionally, as the first international student chapter of the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), the VSHS strives to promote the conservation of the health and humane treatment of all reptilian and amphibian species through public education, captive breeding and reptilian and amphibian habitat preservation.
