Applications for advanced standing or transfer are rarely considered, and only for the beginning of the second year of the four year veterinary medical program at an AVMA COE accredited institution (U.S. or international). The Faculty Student Selection Committee (FSSC) does not seek or encourage transfer applications. A candidate seeking advanced standing should complete a Request to Transfer form to determine whether an application will be considered. Should the FSSC consider the application, the candidate will be notified of the procedures for application.
