After starting clinical training, students must submit evidence of the following to continue clinical training:
- Tuberculosis screening every 11 months: Students complete this requirement by submitting the annual tuberculosis self-assessment form sent to them.
- Influenza vaccination every year: Students must receive the annual influenza vaccine for each applicable influenza season. The updated vaccine is typically available beginning each September. Students should be vaccinated before November 1, retain written documentation of vaccination, and present it to hospitals upon request.
