After successfully completing Term 5, students are contacted by the Academic Advising, Development, and Support (AADS) division and provided with guidance on preparing for the CBSE and USMLE Step 1. Students are required to remain in communication with AADS advisors until they have taken and passed the CBSE and USMLE Step 1 or have begun clinical rotations. Failure to maintain communication is considered a breach of professional behavior standards and may result in delayed promotion to clinical rotations and/or a recommendation for dismissal.
