If the appeal is approved, the student will be placed on Financial Aid Probation for one term and will be eligible to receive financial aid for that term. If the student needs more than one term to regain SAP standing, the student will be placed on an academic plan that specifies when SAP standards must be met.
If the appeal is denied, the student may regain financial aid eligibility by meeting all SAP standards while continuing studies at the student's own expense.
Appeal decisions are sent to the student’s SGU email address within 10 days of the receipt of the appeal and all required documentation.
