The course will comprise a series of lectures dealing with the basic inflammatory responses, then the various organ systems (the ¿systemic approach¿) looking initially at their histology highlighting how they differ from mammals. Pathophysiology will also be touched upon i.e. the consequences for the organ and animal in particular lesions. Then examples of the specific diseases will be presented to highlight the various types of responses.
