The Master of Arts in Clinical and Community Psychology (MCCP) is a non-thesis, practitioner-oriented graduate program for students who have earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a closely aligned field and have a commitment to promoting psychological services in clinical and community settings where the field of psychology is new and/or underdeveloped. Each cohort of students will complete the program sequence in two years, or four semesters, on a standardized course schedule. The program offers hands-on, culturally relevant practicum placement options, and opportunities for mentorship from the alumni program. The MCCP students and graduates have significantly contributed to SGU WINDREF initiatives since 2018, including the Saving Brains and Zika projects.
