A very popular one-day Emergency Medicine Simulation course is planned for all newly starting clinical students. This programme is now overseen by Dr David Gaunt (ex-DME Watford, and now Director of Simulation-Based Education) and is now being rolled out progressively to other Clinical Training Centres (CTCs) as simulation laboratory facilities expand. It too is mandatory, with very good feedback on its practical benefits.
