All students entering the UK Clinical Programme for their first core rotation will be placed at one of the UK Core hospitals. These hospitals are part of a concept of Clinical Training Centres which have been established in the UK. Core rotations may only be taken at a Core hospital. Students wishing to undertake sub internships and electives can complete these at any of the UK hospitals. Students are now required to remain within the CTC they were initially allocated for the initial 18-24 weeks. After this it is possible to move to another hospital in a different CTC to complete your clinical requirements if places are available.
