Students are reminded that all outstanding accounts for accommodation charges, etc, must be settled in full at the hospital before leaving that hospital either to return to the US or to undergo further rotations at another hospital in the UK. Failure to settle outstanding accounts not only jeopardises the good relationship between St George’s and the UK hospitals, but can also cause unnecessary delay in setting up further rotations for a student and may even cause the student’s graduation to be postponed until settlement of the account has been made. Likewise, all library books, bleeps, keys, etc, must be returned to the appropriate department before leaving the hospital.
